See some baseball with your scout this summer!

This year we have two opportunities to attend "Scout Day" with either the Oakland Athletics on Sunday May 1st, or with the San Francisco Giants on Sunday July 24th. This is great activity for scouts and their parents to spend time together! It’s also an awesome opportunity for scouts to march in the pre-game parade down on the field!
A short description of each event is below. The deadline for our decision is just a few days away so if everyone could please let me know as soon as you can which event you would be more interested in, if you’re available for either one, or if you think you won’t be able to make it at all. This way we can have an accurate idea of everyone’s availability. Tickets are $20.00.

Sunday, 5/1, 2011 vs. Tex 1:05pm
Join the A's for our annual Scout Day. The event includes a pregame, on-field parade for uniformed Scouts and leaders, a commemorative patch for all participating Scouts, a special A's Magnet Set for kids 14 and under, and a discounted game ticket.  This event is open to Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts of all ages.

If you are a Giant's fan:

Sunday, 7/24 vs. MIL 1:05pm
The Giants are proud to support Boy Scouts of America with our annual Boy Scout Day! Come out early to enjoy a pre-game Scout tailgate for all scouts, their families, and friends, located in Seals Plaza (directly behind the ballpark by the ferry dock). Additionally, all uniformed scouts and scout leaders in attendance are invited to participate in a pre-game honor ceremony on the field. Everyone who purchases the Boy Scout Day special event ticket will also receive a special edition Boy Scout themed item, only available through this ticket offer. And if that isn't enough enticement, a portion of all special event ticket proceeds will be donated back to Boy Scouts of America, benefitting scouts in the Bay Area and nationwide. Bring out the whole troop for what is sure to be a special day for Scouts of all ages!
